Milo Hugo Ferry Jr.

Milo, age 80, passed away on September 6, 2018. He was a resident of Colorado Springs for 46 years and was formerly a resident of North Kansas City, Missouri. He graduated in 1956 from North Kansas City High School and served in the US Marine Corps. He was an Appliance Repair Technician with Sears.

Milo was born on July 12, 1938, to Milo H. Ferry Sr. and Lola Marie (Adamson) Ferry in Little Rock, Arkansas. On July 14, 1991, he married Grace Ferry (Sciacca) in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was previously married to Margery Kessinger with whom he had three children.

Milo was very social…never knew a stranger…and had many interests to include dancing, baseball, hunting, trains, crafts, playing cards and games. He was a hard worker and loved building things. He also enjoyed collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia and coins. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and a great baseball/softball player.

He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Grace Ferry; children: Milo Ferry III, Lisa Brady (Sean), David Ferry (Vicky), Lynne Daack, and Lee King (Ken); two sisters: Jean Dyer and Judy Horton; sister-in-law, Connie Ferry. He had ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents: Milo Ferry and Lola Ferry; brothers: William Ferry and Charles Ferry; and brothers-in-law: Bill Dyer and Rod Horton.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Wednesday, September 12 at Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd. Funeral services will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 219 East Bijou St. at 1:00 pm on Thursday, September 13.
